EXPERIENCE CONCEPT Each year, YouTube releases the top trends and moments of the year through a digital trend report. But how can we reach digital creators IRL?

We brought the trend report to life through an immersive, physical experience that highlighted top creator content and served as a destination for creators to gather, celebrate, and be inspired. At New York's Pier 57, we crafted a captivating journey through the lens of current trends. From silent disco-themed rooms to reliving childhood nostalgia in a retro gaming arcade to striking poses against interactive pinkcore backdrops, we meticulously designed every experience with content creation in mind.

Attendees could design virtual avatars using an Al-powered photo booth or capture the year's cinematic vibes in a digital photo zone. Custom nail art stations, a chill Lofi lounge, and an unexpected flash mob tribute to YouTube's viral 'Skibidi Toilet' series added an extra element to the immersive experience. The event reminded creators where culture happens and how globally inspiring the YouTube platform is. The event drove over 100 global stories and more than 790,000 organic impressions across social media.
