Blair Dempster

Curator of Experiences. Teller of Stories

Hi. I’m Blair Dempster. I’m a veteran experiential marketer skilled at creating captivating, integrated campaigns across various verticals (automotive, retail, tech, social media, entertainment, and spirits) for wide-ranging and diverse audiences. My past roles included creating internal brand programs as well as consumer-facing activations. I pride myself on thinking creatively while prioritizing ideas being scalable and results-driven.

Most recently, I was Managing Creative Director at ADVOC8, an experience design agency born in Washington, DC. I’ve also been an instructor teaching Experience Design and Design Concepts at The Creative Circus and Miami Ad School. I’m a Pittsburgh guy who learned about advertising and public relations from Penn State and studied design at The Creative Circus.

I’ve been lucky enough to spend time working for The XD Agency in Atlanta, Jack Morton World Wide in New York, 72andSunny in Los Angeles, and Periscope in Minneapolis. I’ve crafted experiences and created reactions, emotions, and transformative moments for brands including YouTube, Starbucks, Target, Porsche, LEGO, Niantic, McDonald’s, Activision, Red Bull, Turner Broadcasting (TNT and TBS), SONOS, Carl’s Jr., Coca-Cola, Audible, UnderArmour, Smirnoff, Syfy, Jockey, Columbia Sportswear, Anheuser-Busch, Cotton Inc., Phillips Distilling and a handful of others.

I’m a team player (football and rugby), a leader, a teacher, a quick learner, an influencer, a sponge, a fixer, a cheerleader, a doer, a tough lover, and a teddy bear, all at the appropriate moments. I love what I do because it’s never static. You meet new people, learn new things, and are continually growing and ideally, becoming a better version of yourself.

I’m equally comfortable talking and engaging as I am listening and processing information. I like making others laugh, putting people at ease, and know how to take a room’s temperature. I’d consider myself a modern Renaissance man. I love movies from the ’80s, the perfect hot dog, playing sports, quippy television shows, and random acts of trivia.

I’m a little bit of everything with a healthy side of humor. But talking this much about myself makes me feel like my last name should be Kardashian.
