So, their gelato and marinara sauce designs needed to represent Buca’s quirky brand personality and off-the-boat Italian taste while never compromising the brand’s signature swagger.

Gingerbread Cookies
Target handed out gingerbread cookies from a life-sized gingerbread house at the Target Holidazzle illuminated parade to promote their private-label baking essentials and spices. The package design included a detachable recipe card so guests could make the cookies at home (and drive sales of Archer Farms products).

VIP Invitation
To invite VIP guests to the Prairiemade Tasting Dinner, Phillips Distilling Company captured the charm and glamorous farmhouse vibes of Prairie Organic Spirits. Instead of using disposable paper invitations, it shipped handmade artisanal cutting boards in chic, recycled packaging. The invitation was a lasting reminder of the bespoke meal and craft cocktail pairings guests savored at the dinner.

Custom Infused
Prairie Organic Spirit
Showcasing the versatility of Prairie Organic Vodka and Gin, guests created custom infusions at the PrairieMade Tasting Dinner with a wide range of delicious organic ingredients. While they dined, their bottle of infused vodka was packaged with Prairie Organic’s new gin and a jar of drunken cherries from Heartland, the restaurant that hosted the dinner.

Shake-Up Showdown
Invitation Kit
To introduce their newest flavor, Candy Bar, UV Vodka challenged local bartenders to battle it out to prove which mixology master would reign supreme. UV armed bartenders to develop their confectionary cocktails, sending them a Shake-Up ShowDown welcome kit with a bottle of UV Candy Bar, a bottle of UV Original, and a branded cocktail shaker. The accompanying collateral piece introduced the contest and explained how bartenders could enter.

America’s favorite undies needed a facelift—BIG TIME. To better position Jockey as the every-man underwear, the design strips the briefs off of the models. It presents them so any man can imagine himself trying a pair on while changing the other package elements to keep things fresh.

Standing out on a store shelf is hard. Standing out on a Walmart shelf is even more challenging. A gutsy and vivid design covers up the competition and cuts through the clutter in the spray paint aisle—to sell consumers Krylon’s new product, Dual: spray paint and primer in one.

Best-of CD highlighting the comedic stylings of Mitch Hedberg. The refrigerator houses objects, including the cupcake-faced CD, that refer to parts of Hedberg’s sets. A Ziploc bag CD enclosure is a nod to one of the comedian’s favorite pastimes.

Jailbirds
A Fourties-inspired board game tests players' ability to stay alive as they try to break out of the joint. Inspired by contraband, the game board slides out of the top of the box. The playing pieces, cards, dice, and rule book are organized inside a tray, typically found in a footlocker. Underneath the playing pieces lies a secret compartment that gives the players access to a pinup poster and a switchblade comb.
