Los Angeles Experience Center Grand Opening

Porsche wanted to unveil their $60 million Experience Center in Los Angeles with a bang! They marked the occasion with a hair-raising 30-car choreographed show on the 6.5-kilometer Experience Center track, and all timed perfectly to the music, lights, pyrotechnics, and a firework display. The grand opening also included a Porsche-meets-Hollywood red carpet opening that led guests through a history of Porsche, a welcome reception with guided tours of the facility, a ribbon cutting with top Porsche brass and local civic leaders, and a luxe after-party.

The invitation-only event for 550 guests generated 2,100 social mentions, a reach of 23.1MM, and 94K engagements. It yielded media coverage in outlets including Autoweek and Forbes. (It led to a 3-mile rubber-necking back-up on the 405, too. Sorry, Angelenos.)
