Telling college students to ignore their smartphones is like telling them not to breathe. Instead of fighting it, Target created value by adding a social and digital layer to enhance its Back to College Shopping Event experience.
Bullseye Badge is a mobile app that allows students to use a single QR code throughout their shopping trip to connect with fun content and incentives. The content changes based on time, making their pre-, during, and post-event experiences unique.
